Welcome on behalf of the Phi Sigma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi. As one of Alpha Kappa Psi's newest chapters, we are constantly expanding our capabilities and are excited to create a lasting legacy at Tufts. Our organization is built on the guiding principles of Alpha Kappa Psi: Brotherhood, Knowledge, Integrity, Service, and Unity. We strive to foster a community in which students of all backgrounds, academic, and professional interests can grow both personally and professionally.
Alpha Kappa Psi at Tufts has expanded to include over 60 members made up of students from various majors, reflecting the unique interdisciplinary culture of Tufts University. Whether you are looking to connect with like minded peers, develop your leadership and professional skills, or explore different career paths we strive to help you meet your career aspirations. We offer professional development workshops, networking opportunities, guest speakers, mentorship programs, and much more designed to help our members succeed at Tufts and long after graduating.
Alpha Kappa Psi has played an integral role in my personal adjustment to Tufts. As a part of the first initiated new member class in the Fall of 2024, I entered college uncertain about my desired career path and in search of a strong community. The mentorship and thoughtfulness I received from upperclassmen in AKPsi guided me through everything from course selection to building up my resume, and I can confidently say that AKPsi has given me both a sense of direction and a community I can rely on. I look forward to growing our chapter and bolstering our diverse and multidisciplinary organization.
